Although the original 2HP, 65cc two stroke engine & tank mounted gear change for the 3 speed gearbox were retained there were various improvements including rear dampers for a more comfortable ride. |

1958 - 62 Moto Guzzi Cardellino Turismo 73 In 1958 the Cardellino engine was upgraded to 73cc with a foot selector for the 3 speed gearbox. The Turismo model was also given front telescopic fork suspension along with a few minor cosmetic changes. |

1962 - 64 Moto Guzzi Cardellino 83 The Cardellino 83 was given a slightly more sporty look to compliment the up rated 83cc engine which now produced 2.9HP. Production of this model ceased at the end of 1963. |
1956 - 1972 Moto Guzzi Hispania Cardellino The Hispania was produced in Spain by the Moto Guzzi subsidiary Motor Hispaña SA in Barcelona. To all intents & purposes this was the same motorcycle as the Italian versions with a few minor changes to the appearance. Most of the parts are interchangeable with the Italian Cardellino, but if ordering from a Spanish supplier be careful to check that it will be suitable. |
